Cooper Farms Advocates for the Local Community

Cooper Farms is one of the leading providers of production jobs in Mercer County, and it is dedicated to helping the local community. Throughout the years, Cooper Farms has been humbled by the tremendous level of support from the local community, and now, the team at Cooper Farms is looking for ways to give back. There are several examples of this philanthropic plan in action, and countless people have benefited from the generosity of the Cooper Farms team.

Cooper Farms Offers Summer Jobs To Local Students

Throughout the United States, there is a tremendous need for smart, talented, and hard-working young professionals who are interested in a career in farming. That is why Cooper Farms has a summer internship program where several students get to learn about the inner workings of Cooper Farms. Traditionally, 16 students from local colleges and universities are invited to participate in the program, and it is orchestrated by COO Gary Cooper. The goal of the internship is to show students what it is like to run a farm, how to overcome various challenges, and how the farm provides meals for people in need.

Cooper Farms Continues Virgil Cooper’s Scholarship Legacy

In addition, Cooper Farms awards dozens of scholarships to graduating high school seniors every year. The scholarships come from the V.H. Cooper Scholarship Foundation, and they are given to 29 graduating seniors every year. The seniors come from a variety of graduating high schools, and they are pursuing a wide variety of academic goals. The goal of the program is to continue to honor the legacy of Virgil Cooper, who believed that generosity through education was essential to a thriving community. The scholarships will make it easier for students to pursue their hopes and dreams.

Cooper Farms Donates Meat and Eggs To Families in Need

Right now, there are a lot of families struggling to make ends meet, and many of them are having a hard time putting food on the table. That is why Cooper Farms is stepping up to support those in need, donating hundreds of thousands of pounds of meat and eggs to make it easier for families to survive. There are numerous supply chain issues scattered across the country, and these problems are making it difficult to put foods on the shelves at affordable prices. A lot of families are feeling the pinch, and Cooper Farms has opened up its facilities, donating food to families in need.
